Congratulations card for a wedding and a baby!

So, I kept forgetting to send a wedding congratulations card in the mail to my Uncle and so when I recently found out he and his wife are expecting their first child together, I knew I better get my rear in gear!  As I started digging through my mom’s stamp sets (my DH and I are visiting my parents for the holiday), I found a saying in the Full of Life set that I thought perfectly covered both the wedding and the baby… then I turned to finding images that would cover both sentiments — Fun and Fast Notes to the rescue!  Finally, this gave me a chance to use the new Love You Much stamp set for the red hearts.  Plus, after stamping the hearts, I could easily punch them out using the new three heart punch.

It took a few different starts, stops, remeasuring moments, and lots of restyling, but in the end I’m really happy with the result (and it looks much cooler in person.  You can see pieces of the card that are popped up on dimensionals, etc.)  I also put a piece of cardstock on the inside of the card to make the ends of the ribbon look a little bit better.  To add some oomph, I sponged the edge of the insert paper in Real Red.  I may have to start finishing my insides more often!  Hope they like it.
