I can’t believe World Card Making Day snuck up on me already this year!  This coming Saturday – October 6th – is World Card Making Day.  A day to remind us to create something handmade and special to send to someone who could use that smile and pick me up from you.

As paper crafters, we love to create cards and other projects; but we don’t always either (1) set aside the time for ourselves to actually relax and create – I know there are many out there who get inspired and buy the craft supplies and then lovingly look at them as you walk by your craft storage on the way to your next thing 🙂 – or (2) we make cute cards, but don’t actually send them or give them to anyone!!!

Well, this is your week!  Join me in committing to taking that time to sit down for ourselves and enjoy the moment creating something special.  And then commit to giving it away!  That is right!  Share the love and the joy, and give it to someone else and brighten their day. 🙂
