Saving another card

So, I had a card that I really wanted to case that used many of the same elements as my card below.  However, that card was pink and black and I’ve found that most of the examples I’ve been drawn to lately are pink and brown or black.  So, I thought that I would try out the new In Color blues instead of pink.  They are really nice blues and go well together, but once I started stamping, I thought it got a bit busy and I had cut some of the pieces bigger than I thought so it was time to start re-engineering the design.  I’m beginning to think this will be a common experience. 🙂  Once I changed up the layout, I decided it was still missing something and since the only extra accessories I had were brads, they got added for a little extra shine.

One note with brads, I highly recommend putting them through all of the layers of the white, blue, and black cardstock first and then affix the stack to the base cardstock with stampin’ dimentionals.  I started out only putting them through the white and blue paper but then had a hard time gluing the set to the black cardstock.
