Northwest Stamp and Share – Fall 2018

I’m so excited for this new event for Stampin’ Up demonstrators in the Pacific Northwest!  Join us as we share the excitement of the NEW Holiday Catalog.  Get project ideas, participate in swapping, learn from other demonstrators, and have lots of fun!  This is our very own unofficial regional event and you are sure to go away inspired.

Event Details

Date: Sept 8th, 2018 … 9am – 5pm
Registration:  July 25th until August 27h
Location: TBD – likely Bellevue/Seattle Hyatt House  (3244 139th Ave SE, Bellevue, WA 98005)
What is included:

We’re doing it again! For the last 2 summers, we’ve put on the Northwest Stamp & Share – essentially a local OnStage style event geared toward connecting you with demonstrators and crafters in your area as well as helping kick off the ideas and inspiration from the new Holiday catalog. This year we are changing it up to bring you even MORE stamping and samples when you are done with your day.
Our typical August date didn’t work out so I’m looking at running it Sept 8th so we can still come together and get great ideas to kick off the new Holiday Catalog.
  • swapping
    (bring card samples using current Stampin’ Up products and swap them with other attendees so you go home with a ton of new ideas and samples to share)
  • make & takes!
    This is where we will be spending more time this year. We will be making at least 16 projects! 4 each from 4 different suites or bundles from the Holiday catalog. They will be sets you can take home and use in your business or have on hand to give to friends and family! I want you to have coordinated samples so you can feel like you’ve really gotten a feel for the new suites and products.
  • training
    though this event is going to be more focused on the making, we are also going to be doing some sharing around the new products, using them in your crafting business, ideas for trying new things with your customers, or other Q&A sessions. I want you to go home with some ideas for how to use the holiday catalog to keep your stamping business rolling.
  • Prize Patrol!
    It wouldn’t be an event without prizes
  • Inspiration
    we’ll have some displays up for you to see many of the new products in person along with samples from the annual and holiday catalog.
  • Small gift for coming
  • Drinks & treats during the day
Lunch is not included but we will have a break and you can go to a number of nearby restaurants to eat or bring your lunch and hang out at the event.
This is targeted at active Stampin’ Up demonstrators but anyone is welcome to attend. We will be having discussions and speakers talking about business ideas geared towards our demonstrator family, but if you have been curious about joining Stampin’ Up or want a peek behind the curtain, you are welcome.

Saturday Night After-Party – Shoebox swap!

As if all the stamping and swapping and socializing isn’t enough, consider sticking around for more fun in the evening for our Shoebox swap.  I always get so jazzed up and ready to create after an OnStage or event like this, so I’m giving you an opportunity for MORE time to hang out with some fabulous fellow demonstrators and CREATE!  I’d love to have you join me for our after party Saturday night.

You would create a card or project using current Stampin’ Up products only and bring all the supplies needed for up to 6-8 other people to create your project. When you come to the party, you will get to create 6-8 OTHER projects throughout the night. It is a fun way to try out different styles and ideas.
Plus of course there will be more giveaways and treats. 🙂
Afterparty cost is $10 when added to the main event
RSVPs must be received and paid for by August 26th

What is included:

  • Participate in an optional shoebox swap (**details below)
  • Opportunity to connect with other demonstrators in your area
  • Prizes!
  • Bottled water & treats

**Shoebox swap details – if you choose to participate, you will design a project using only current Stampin’ Up projects with a holiday theme.  You will need to bring all the supplies required for the project including pre-cut papers, embellishments, inks, stamps, punches/dies, etc.  You will bring a completed sample and the supplies for up to 7 people to create your project and while others are completing your project, you will be completing up to 7 different projects.  (Final numbers will be provided well in advance).  Participants will be required to bring their own basics such as adhesive, scissors, and bone folders.

Cost: $10 for event attendees.
$15 for demonstrators who cannot attend during the day on Saturday but would like to join us that night.
