  • The New Paper and Ribbon Shares are Coming!

    I finally sat down with my new catalog and decided to put together some product shares for some of the new, cute items in the catalog.

    I don’t know about you, but I think it is so much nicer and easier to figure out which papers and ribbons I really love when I can see the samples in person, plus I always love having lots of options without having to pay for all of the full packages!

    This year, I am offering a few different product shares to help you get a big variety of designs to play with for a fraction of the price.  Check out your options and let me know if you want to sign up for one or more!

    *2012 Designer Paper Share *
    Get a 6×6 piece of EVERY designer paper in the new catalog.  There are 14 packs with 6 designs in each… that means you get 84 different designs in your paper sampler.
    If you bought each paper pack individually, it would be $158 plus tax and shipping!
    Your cost – $23.50 (plus shipping)

     

    *2012 In Color Stitched Satin Ribbon Share*
    I LOVE this new ribbon.  Get 2 yards of each of the 5 new In Colors… so 10 yards total!
    It would cost you $44.75 plus shipping and tax to get all of these colors yourself.

    get the coordinating In Color Dahlia embellishments to go with your ribbon.  You get a 1/2 pack of these cute little resin flowers accents to go with your ribbon… that is 10 total flowers.

    *Stitched 1/4″ Grosgrain Ribbon Share*
    Get 2 yards of each of the 10 colors of this new ribbon style.  That means you will have 20 yards total to play with.
    Individually, it would cost you $49.50 plus shipping and tax to get these ribbons.
    Your cost – $11.75 (plus shipping)

  • A Little More Convention Inspiration

    Well, today is my day to photograph some of the recent projects I’ve made to share with you; so while I work on that, I thought I’d share with you a few more swap cards I received at convention.  These were all cards that when I saw them I just had to trade for them.  So I hope you enjoy like I did!

    I love how this card uses the scallop circle from the Perfect Pennant bigshot die and weaves Cherry Cobbler seam binding ribbon to make this adorable wreath!

    I see this card and I think it looks like a present in the middle of a white card – perfect for a birthday card.



    I’m trying to find the creator of this card, I’ll update shortly.

    When I saw this card, I thought it looked like a work of art and was so excited to swap for it.  The cutest thing was the person who created it had designed it for a “Wow! swap” and was concerned it wasn’t good enough.  So, she really appreciated that I was wow’ed by it and I loved having such beautiful inspiration.

    I’ve done masking techniques before and I’ve seen sponging and brayering techniques but I never put them together like in this card.  Doesn’t it make such a neat effect!  I know I’ll have to try different fun masked shapes now.

    1.  I want it all! – Get 1-1.5 yards of every ribbon in the catalog (the crochet ribbon would be .5 yds).  That is enough ribbon to let you experiment with all of the different colors and textures on a number of cards and projects.  Shares are $65 shipped priority to you, which is a savings of over $550 if you bought them all new!
