Stampin’ Up Leadership Conference–Day 2 Recap

I may have had bags under my eyes but with a big smile and much goofiness, I made it through Day 2 of Leadership!

First off, for everyone that said hello and that you read my blog or my facebook page, thank you!!  It is always so amazing to meet new friends and to have a chance to have a face for who I’m seeing online.  Super fun!

Ok, so, for those of you not here with me (and if you aren’t you know you can fix that by joining my awesome Fun n’ Crafty group of demos and come party with us at Convention and other events in between! Winking smile We would love to have you join us!)

The morning was time for recognition for demonstrators and I was so proud to have all of the ladies from my downline get to go walk across the stage for having promoted in the last year.  Pretty cool – if only I could have wielded a camera better for the actual march!

Beatie, Kathy Thisted, and Karen Marshall all back from their adventure on Main Stage!

Oh and Shelli shared that she and Sterling have put in for an opportunity to serve as missionaries for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latterday Saints!  So, at some point – they don’t know when – they will get their calling and she will be taking a leave for the time of the mission!  Sara and Rich will be running the show during that time.  Should be interesting to see how their adventure plays out!

Then it was time for more stamping demonstrations by Sara

She showed us a number of projects including this mini 4×4 album kit!  I didn’t think I needed it but after seeing HOW MUCH comes in the kit and how CUTE it is… I’m not only getting it but going to plan a class because YOU totally need it too and I bet you you will love it!

I even got to play in the Product Playground and do things like make this flower!

It was one flower from the Build a Bouquet kit (seen behind) and it actually went together fairly quick… you just have to be good friends with your Hot Glue gun!

Then it was time for Share Fair sessions – that time when some demonstrators run presentations on a variety of projects – seriously guys, this was amazing!  So many useful tips to help me serve you, my customers, and my downline better!

Cause when you are happy, I’m happy. Winking smile

One of my downline with me is Karen Marshall… I’m so sad that she just moved from the Northwest to the Southeast and lives fairly close to our hotel. But all day she spent telling SU staff thank you for their work and finding people to build up and rally behind.

Me, Rich Jutkins, Karen Marshall, Donna Griffith

It was a lot more information, though thankfully not nearly as much as the day before and my mind and heart were a little more receptive today.

Then we had dinner (turns out, don’t believe what the maps tell you.!  The trolley map said there was a sizzlers near by.  But upon arrival, we discovered an empty building!  Thankfully there was a Palamino (?) steakhouse that was just down the road.

Finally, it was back for an evening of stamping presentations.  Aren’t they cute?

And then they previewed the monthly photopolymer stamp set

Cute. right?

Then it was back to the room to catch up and theoretically sleep… though I’m not doing a very good job at that. Smile
