Springtime Impressions Butterfly and Vellum Card

We are on our last day of our family trip and I realized we were so busy yesterday that I didn’t get day 7 of the anniversary celebration posted…oops! Well, today I have a pretty card to share with you and I have 2 days of giveaways at the end of the post. So check it out and then leave one comment for each of the giveaways. 🙂

Pretty Spring Impressions Butterfly Card

This card is a fun way to mix and match all the different types of goodies in your craft room! It uses your patterned paper (Garden Impressions), your embossing folders (Layered Leaves), your ribbon (metallic combo pack), dies (Springtime impressions), and even vellum and the new Petal Pink Rhinestones!

Love what you do butterfly card
One of the things that is hard to see from the picture is how pretty the butterfly is! It is first die cut out of the Petal Pink cardstock, then die cut again out of Vellum cardstock. Use a glue dot to adhere the Vellum to the pink cardstock. Then you can cover up the spot of the glue dot that shows through with one of the Petal Pink Rhinestones. It becomes a softer butterfly and the rhinestone makes a perfect match with the layered metallic ribbons (layer the Tranquil Tide over the Petal Pink)!

So pretty, right?!

Before I head into the anniversary giveaways, I thought I’d share some of what I was doing to celebrate. 🙂 The card says “Love What You Do” and it is true for me. It gives me the flexibility to travel when it fits for my family (when my husband can take time off) and I could work from the road. In this case, we were talking advantage of the summer break to take the kids to visit their cousins in Florida. We got to check out Universal Studios and hang out on a sandy beach. My inner child was so happy. 🙂

  1. I want all the new Stampin Blend colors. I always craft with a cup of tea on my craft table. I can’t eat anything, I’d get the cardstock all messy.

  2. It’s a 3-way tie between Dandelion Wishes, Healing Hugs, and Broadway Birthday at the moment. Crafty snack: always popcorn (Boom Chicka Pop Sea Salt), fresh Twizzlers (they must be fresh), and something to drink Zevia soda, tea, water.

  3. Without a doubt, the Rooted in Nature bundle! And ink pads and cardstock in all of the new colors.

I like to enhance my crafting time with tea. If you demand a food item, I’ll go with a bit of Montezuma’s absolute black 100% dark chocolate. It’s an acquired taste, for sure!

  4. Love the whole twinkle set!!!
Favorite snack… hmm lots of variety but always have a water… usually a few lol

  5. I am liking the new Pops of Petal stamp set and punch. I love flowers and I love matching punches. They just make projects come together so quickly, when you can punch out the shapes.

  6. My favorite crafting snack is cheese and crackers because it’s less likely to get on your project and ruin it.

  7. The Stamp and Blends are at the top of my wish list. I don’t usually snack when I stamp but instead I drink peach Snapple.
