I Love Lace Meets Painted Petails for a Sweet Thank You Card

JenniferCardsLeave a Comment

I had to share the Thank You cards I created for folks who ordered with me this month.  When I saw that I Love Lace the background stamp was on the retiring list, I was so sad and I had to have one last hurrah with it… and I just love how it turned out!  I think this will be another stamp that I will be hanging on to for a while to come. 🙂

NOTE – Retiring Stamps are now WHILE SUPPLIES LAST and some have sold out, so be sure not to delay!  Check out what is still available here.

I love how this background stamp makes it look like real lace overlaid on your card!  I stamped with Blackberry Bliss ink on top of Whisper White paper to get this look.  And if you miss a spot when stamping (like the bottom edge above missed a little) it just looks like the lace pulled up in one spot which is cool too!

I also had to get in one last hurrah with my Painted Petals stamp set.  The flowers are a two step, so you can stamp the leaves down first in green and then ink up your flower heads in more Blackberry Bliss and stamp knowing they will be perfectly aligned!

And yes, that pretty sentiment is from the Painted Petals set too.  Such a fun Thank You card!  Maybe I’ll have to make a few sets in different colors to give as gifts.
